Commissioning a piece of custom furniture

Design Phase, ($150-$500 depending on the scope of the work, paid in advance)

Harold Greene will talk with you on the phone, at a personal meeting, or via e-mail to get an idea of the scope and the specifics of your project. Mr. Greene will then submit to you sketches of the proposed work for your input. A second set of drawings with the requested changes completed will then be submitted to you for your approval. A final dimensioned drawing (with detailed notes), finished wood samples to be used on your project, and a firm price with a completion date will then be submitted to you.

Build Phase

The build phase in initiated with a 50% deposit of the total price of the project. Harold Greene will personally select the wood, hardware and any other materials necessary for the completion of the work. You will be able to view the work at any point during the construction of your piece(s) and are encouraged to visit the studio to see your work take shape. Your piece will be signed, dated and personally delivered if you live in the greater Los Angeles area at no extra cost, or shipped after being carefully packed and crated.
