Harold's work was featured on the 2002 season opener of "Modern Masters", HGTV's weekly showcase of craftsmen from all corners of the nation. In the show, Harold credits furniture makers of the Arts and Crafts Movement, such as the Greene brothers and the Stickley brothers, as a source of inspiration for his work.
A Message from Harold Greene
I create each piece with great care-selecting the highest quality woods, designing and crafting to exact specifications, finishing to enhance the beauty and durability of the wood.
You will find quality in the design and in the detail: open a drawer and find dovetail joints used for strength; turn over a chair and examine mortise and tenon joints sealed with pegs; notice how carefully chosen hardware compliments the wood and the design.
Nature is the source of inspiration for my cast bronze door and drawer pulls. A rich patina gives this hardware a timeless look and truly makes this furniture.
